3D printed Hill Giant

Introduction

With the advent of our new DnD campaign: Storm King's Thunder, I was looking into ways of getting my hands on cheap giants. The campaign features all kinds of giants. I first tried paper minis, as before, but they don't fare well when built to be too tall. There is always the last resort proxying, and I have a few proper miniatures, but nothing in the required numbers. However, when I found out someone had a 3D printer, I jumped on the occasion. Enter the prototype: a Hill Giant.

A revised list from last time. The Daemon Princes didn't cut it against the shooting of the Fists. Although I think they would have worked better against the close combat-oriented Blood Angels, I decided to throw them out (along with much of the summoning points) to bring in the trusty Chaos Terminators.

Repainting Bloodletters (1)

Introduction

Among my first painted miniatures were two squads of Bloodletters. At the time, I was happy with how they looked. Now, I considered it was time for some retouching.

Similar to Skulls and bone. Also applies to tusks, teeth etc.

The troublesome ring (3) - Recover and revenge

The adventurers awakened roughly laid out in a cellar, naked and hurting, but alive. Against all odds, they had reached their destination! They were greeted by none other than Bloin himself.

Introduction

This one is special for several reasons. First of all, it's a departure from everything I did until now and a deep dive into a modern setting. Second, it was a birthday gift to a good friend of mine.

The troublesome ring (2) - An animated vineyard

We marched ever onward carrying the accursed ring, until we reached a crossroads. As fate would have it, the sign post was torn in half and lying on the ground.
