I brought the Bloat Drones for screen clearing duties, the Havocs as a firebase and the Obliterators + Bloodletters as deep striking heavy hitters.

Painting the body of the Chaos Lord

Introduction

I worked on the body and the sub-assemblies in parallel, so as to speed up work and waste less paint.

Warm white cloth

Basecoat 1:1 Bonewhite and white mix, or use Off White. For larger cloaks, do this as a layer on Bonewhite.

Wash Seraphim Sepia. Dilute with Lahmian Medium for a lighter fabric.

Highlight with the same mix as the basecoat.

Highlight the tops of the folds with pure white.

Introduction

Just to mess around with as many of the local player base as possible, I opted for the following heads: Blood Angel, Imperial Fist, Space Wolf - and of course, the World Eater.
