I bought the following due to a sale at my favorite FLGS: female half-elf monk, male tabaxi rogue, male tiefling rogue, male tiefling warlock. I painted them using Contrast paints for the basecoats, then regular highlights, and metallic paints.
Disclaimer: this session was very boring and not at all engaging for me. We played on-line, but I could not access roll20. I saw the action through a skype screen share, and had to relay my dice rolls to my party members. Sigh.
I bought this at a sale and started painting it when hobby time was scarce for big projects such as Be'lakor. The more I got into it, the more I liked this big boy! From Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures crossover line with Magic the Gathering.
The Legion of the First Prince, led by the brother Bloodthirsters, faces off against a mixed force of Nurgle mortals and daemons in 1500 points of... whatever this is. Whoever designed this L shaped deployment is a psycho.

Ages ago, I bought a bunch of these guys second-hand in various states - from on-sprue to mostly painted. They've seen some action in the past in D&D. I decided on painting them, starting with 5 that were mostly painted, as well as 5 that were primed in some sort of khaki color.
The nuns sally forth in force to face down the Novokh dynasty led by Szarekh, the Silent King in 2000 points of Death and Zeal.
A painting commission that I took on just for the fun of it, as I had this idea...
