Back to swampy land! At least we were well rested, and I decided to change up my prepared spell list a bit. Everybody's quite tired by Summon Greater Demon by now, I bet.

Painting an unmodified Venomcrawler

Why unmodified? Apparently I assembled this guy after buying the Chaos half of Shadowspear and left him to rot at the back of the shelf. I painted him along the lines of the first Venomcrawler, so take a look there if interested.

Kick off this year's Warhammer with a Chaos on Chaos game of the souped-up Dark Apostle vs Abaddon!

We drew some Tempest of War cards but again decided to ignore the mission rules. We somehow always get reserve shenanigans when 10 Terminators need to go into deep strike.

Note the Immolator on my left flank - I forgot to bring an extra Rhino.

Fixing, magnetizing and painting Contemptor Dreadnoughts

M.A.G.U.S. - Why, oh why, would you fix the evil runic circle

The last room explored during the previous session contained this evil looking runic circle. Back then, the mage decided not to fix it. However this session we had a different mage to replace him, and this one, for some reason, turned out to be more... adventurous.

Painting a Helbrute

A very old Helbrute model acquired second hand. It's been sitting in IPA (the 99 degree type) for at least the past year.

More Cultists. No conversions this time, as I got the rest of the 'unique' sculpts, including champions and heavy weapons.
