Painting female elf archers

Introduction

My DnD group includes two female elf rangers. We've been using the models from Magic the Gathering: Arena of the Planeswalkers since I got a hold of that, and now it's time to paint them up.

Preparations

Two identical models, looking like this:

The base is much larger than DnD's standard 1 inch squares, so I chopped it down to size and glued the model to a 25mm washer (also handy for magnetized storage). Then comes a black primer.

Painting

Instead of squad members, we are now talking about independent characters, so I decided to go for totally different color schemes.
