After a long hiatus in 40k, I'm very excited to get in on the action. The tournament will take place in a single day, with 3 3-hour games for each player. Along some common-sense rules, there is a twist, however: the so-called Highlander rule.
Copied from the event's page:
Armies will consist of 2000 points or less, and may be constructed utilizing following options:
--All units in the army are unique. Add the following to the unit profile if it does not already have it: Only one of this unit may be included in your army.
-- No forgeworld rules are alowed. Forgeworld models can be used with GW rules.
-- If a unit has different rules in the codex and the index, the codex entry must be used (e.g. dreadnought weapon options)
Additionally, ETC missions will be played.
To counter my lack of practice, I went ahead and played 3 practice games.
