Painting a dark grey yeti

Introduction

To set the final yeti apart from the rest of the pack, I decided on a dark grey fur.

Fur

Basecoat Heavy Charcoal.

Do some areas in a mix of Heavy Charcoal and Stonewall Grey. Things that I made a lighter color on the other yetis - stomach, underside of the arm, small of the back etc.

Drybrush with Stonewall Grey.

Skintone

For a final unsettling effect, I decided on a human-like, but dark skintone.

Basecoat Tan.

Wash Reikland Fleshshade.

Highlight Heavy Skintone.

Superhighlight Elf Skintone.

Other details

As for the light grey yeti.

Basing

Standard snowy base.
