My daughter has a set of toy cooking implements. One of which, of course, broke. Plastic glue did not even hold it together. I had repaired it with superglue, but it broke off soon after.
First, I glued it back again with superglue.
Notice the seam right where the haft meats the head.
After it dried, I applied milliput (actually 2:1 mix with plasticine) liberally.
I did the same with this toy cup which was hurled across the kitchen in a fit of rage. Small pieces had broken off and there were visible gaps after the superglue assembly step, which is where I got the idea of using milliput in the first place.
