The first ASOIAF commission of the year.
Initial state
I initially just wanted to highlight these dudes, but they were in a sorry state. This is owed to them being one of the first minis that my client worked on. Many areas, especially the undersides and inside of horse legs, showed red primer, or even plastic.

Painting the horses
Painting a yellowy horse inspired by the Clegane Butcher.
Painting the riders
- medium skintone
- Light leather bags
- Dark leather horse leathers
- Black boots
- Dark wood
- Dark red cloth (minimal, they wear more leathers, but at least there is the flag)
- metallic armor and weapons, also on the horses
Basing
Lannister base: orange rock/sand and greenery.
