Painting the Batnun (counts as Ursula Creed) and converting and painting more nun infantry

I think she's a perfect fit. Same amount of daddy issues (I haven't read anything about Ursula but given her name and heritage I made some assumptions here). Also speaking of heritage: I know the Cadian Shocktroops are a meritocracy but it's a huge coincidence that the daughter of the greatest general is now the greatest general. Anyway, I was inspired by Adam West's Batman costume - given the silliness of the character.

I then added just a few models here and there to complete and optimize my squads of Cadian nuns.

Painting the batnun

Given that the Batman costume is mostly black, start as with the regular nuns. For the grey dress, go for the red cloak but with Cold Grey instead of red and Stonewall Grey for the lighter shade.

Highlight the tool belt Dead White, then apply a layer of Bad Moons Yellow for that classic Batman look.

Basing the batnun

Finish the base as cobblestone and marble.

Drum fed autoguns (auto-nuns?)

I only have chainsword sergeants, and autoguns seem to be better at the moment. I took the shotgun nuns (shotnuns) and pinned water canteens below to serve as drum magazines.

Master vox

I glued a Krieger voxcaster on a regular telephone nun using UV resin.

More infantry

More voxcasters and a plasma gun without any modifications.

Painting

Painting Nuns with Laserguns (black habit).

Paint some varied skintones: medium skintoneDark skinYellowy dark skin.

Finished!
