Introduction

The Astra Militarum Nuns (reinforced by Inquisitor Clotilde) face off against the Tyranid Crusher Stampede (with Kronos backfield shooting) in 1500 points of Frontline Warfare.

It was the first time I could field my magnetized and LED-ed tanks, but as the game points went up, the proxy tanks are back as well.

Dungeon of the Mad Mage: Dwarven chambers

The party reunited in a hybrid fashion, with Selene and Ireth joining us through Skype. The DM surprised us with a level-up[1], and we descended to the 6th level of the dungeon[2] after plentiful smalltalk and stuffing ourselves with KFC-goodies.

Painting a necromancer/vampire

Introduction

For the Halloween-themed painting competition I decided on painting this necromancer from Reaper Miniatures who had been sitting in a box for way too long. For extra spookiness, I took inspiration from the vampire lady and painted her skin deathly white.

Note: I mixed up the specifications and the mini got way too tall for the competition. Oh well, next time.

Adding a LED searchlight to an Astra Militarum Chimera

Introduction

My most ambitious LED project to date. A lot of thought went into this, as I had to figure out where to hide the switch and the battery, and how to lead the wires through it all.

Obvious precondition: have the Chimera in subassemblies, finish all magnetization tasks.

Introduction

Even though Be'lakor is only half painted, I decided to take him out for a ride against some Coalesced Seraphon in this 2000 point game of Feral Foray (I think) along with his friends Virulax and Arbra'Gax. Up against them is a horde of assorted dinosaurs, lizards and frogs.

Magnetizing an Astra Militarum Chimera

Introduction

I always wanted a vehicle or some such to fully magnetize with a lot of options. Demons can be magnetized but it doesn't look pretty, they being organic and rounded shapes. The opportunity presented itself when I bought a Chimera for my nuns to ride in.
