Oh the Martells and the wall of text on each of their units. We were quite fatigued after the previous games, so not as many pictures. At least the scenario was simple: good old Game of Thrones.
With the Bowmen arriving in turn 1 and the Martells leaning heavily on the refuse flank (I wonder who taught them), I capitalized by taking the left flank with Borroq and his Boar. Shadowcat arrived to destroy the stakes before anything untoward happened.
All the action happened on the other flank, with the Sand Skirmishers staying back and giving their activation to the cavalry and archers. Mag got inflicted with Rhoynish Vengeance, and doing auto wounds to a giant is really bad. So I leaned on my other units as well.
Wolves doing wolf things. With no defensive abilities to turn off, I just held everything in place.
By round 4, I managed to take down the cavalry, thus afflicting Mag with continuous wounds. Everything else was tied down, but that won't stop the Martells from retreating and shooting.
The Raiders died quickly, and my saving grace was engaging everything with solo units with more wounds than ranks. Thus I scored 2 in the final round, and the Martells scored 0.
Game ended 7-5 for me.
