Converting and painting Free Folk Trappers

The last block of Free Folk infantry that I recently purchased.

Conversions

These guys are basically hunters, so I had this hilarious idea of giving them cuts of meat/slain animals instead of weapon swaps. I had some shanks of meat, fowl, and whole rabbits 3d printed. A bit of cutting had me gluing on the meats in appropriate places, such as attached to existing belts and hooks.

The way they are holding their primitive weapons, including bows, makes them unfit for easy weapon swaps. I just went for more fur capes and some belts to cover up the joints.

Scenic tray

With the lads having already hunted down anything worth while, I just imagined their tray as an empty forest with animal skulls left as a warning/waypoint. Throw in some feasting ravens for good measure.

Ice base, Dark wood and Bone. Then paint the ravens Black Legion and apply a super light Cold Grey     drybrush.
