Painting a Savage Giant

I bought this painted giant for cheap, then traded it for another and... it's complicated. Before handing it over, I decided to bring it up to speed.

Original state 

More or less, I already started on the base for uniformity. The flesh is patchy, but I liked the orange hair/fur. Yellow robes are an interesting choice, I decided on leaving them. The bone is patchy, slopped over.

Fixing him up

Start by shading the fur Fuegan Orange, then Agrax Earthshade, then a soft Hot Orange drybrush. Then repaint the skin medium skintone.

Repaint the bones completely. Also the beads in the beard. Highlight the yellow robes at the same time.

Bathe the pants Agrax Earthshade, then highlight using various browns. Highlight the ropes Filthy Brown.

Leave the wood as is.

Finally repaint the fur trim Grey Seer, paint Gryph Charger Grey, then highlight Grey Seer.

Finish with Ice base.
