Painting a D&D Ettin and Ogre

I've already painted an Ettin - one more coming up, along with a prepainted ogre. I didn't take any photos before, I just sprayed over with Wraithbone. Time to apply the Contrast paints once more, but use different colors here and there, and experiment a bit.

Painting

Use some painting tips:

Dirty wraps

Nuln Oil over Wraithbone.

Then Agrax.

Highlight Off White.

Doesn't look bad, but almost identical to Filthy cloth.

Leather/fur

Basecoat the fur and leather Ratling Grime.

Coat the fur Gore Grunta Fur. Coat the leather Black  Templar.

Honestly, I don't see the underlying layer. The fur looks OK but the leather is flat. I did highlights with Cold Grey.

Back to the painting tips...

Add a bit of red on the axe.

Basing

Finished!
