M.A.G.U.S. - Social encounters in the fishing village

The adventurers walked through the swamp, escorting the two villagers to their home. To set the mood, the swamp was described as depressing.

Painting yetis (warm white fur)

Introduction

I bought a couple of Reaper yetis in case the DnD party ever ventures to the realm of the Frost Giants. Obviously, they didn't. But the yetis should present an excellent opportunity to experiment with fur. The first one is based on the warm white cloth painting tip.

Uprising on Mane Primus - Mission #7 Story

Gortez aimed down his sights, and pulled the trigger. Across the hab-block, the chest of a renegade squad leader exploded, showering his underlings with blood, gore and bits of bone. The cultists broke, turned tail and ran.

Working on a legless griffon

Introduction

I bought a griffon for very cheap on eBay. The catch: he's missing a front leg. There were other stuff as well which I did not notice on the pictures, but it was well worth the investment.

Storm King's part 20 - Triboar in ruins

We help the city and its citizens by putting out the fires all over the town and cleaning the streets to the best of our abilities (we are after all Adventures not Laborers).

Storm King's part 19 - All Elements unleashed: Storm, Thunder, Fire and Earth

The day beginning casually, Tari goes to the hunter to get her new armor. The hunter finished on time so the armor is ready and looking good.

For some unknown reason, Szivem decides that it is time for a full medical exam that she hadn't had for a while. The apothecary is more than happy to examine every inch of the beautiful young lady. Good thing we reached the apothecary because we have the chance to sell the uncommon items we have gathered during this adventure, like dragon teeth and scales. (The tongues seems to get smelly so we throw them away.)

While the apothecary is having his way with Szivem[1] we hear screams of panic from outside. Someone even specifically shouts “RUUUUNNNN!!! GIANTS!!!”[2]

Finishing off the 3d printed giants

Introduction

I don't remember why I did not paint the Frost Giant along with its fellows. It is a proof-of-concept from the previous 3d printer and smaller in scale than the others. Still, I did not want to let it go to waste. There is also the matter of basing the previously finished giants, which I skipped because I wanted to have them painted and ready as soon as possible.

Uprising on Mane Primus - Mission #6 Game - Defend the roadway

Mission

Start with 5 CP. All rolls done by the player can be CP rerolled.
Variable game length.
Waves of enemies appearing in a 6" zone from their map edge. Scouts deploy anywhere.
Major victory: no enemies make it to the opposite table edge.
Otherwise, roll a D6 at the end of the game, and add +1 for every 10 wounds worth of enemies that made it through. 2-4 minor victory; 5-7 minor defeat; 8+ major defeat.
Enemies can seize the initiative.

Uprising on Mane Primus - Mission #6 Story

The vox clicked twice, then went silent for a second; two clicks, then silence; two clicks. Argus responded with the proper code, and the Lux Imperatoris soon descended unto the clearing in front of Alpha Squad. The scouts embarked in good order, the rearguard scanning the treeline with their bolters.

The mission had gone well, but the tidings were grave.
