The session started off where right as the party prepared to meet their new enemies. Well, prepare is perhaps too much said. Bernie prepared a shot and Ulfgar equipped his shield, while the other milled around.
Documenting the winding journey from beginning wargaming and PnP RPG-s, through low budget solutions, to a growing collection of painted miniatures and a veritable chronicle of games and campaigns.

Dungeon of the Mad Mage: Passport please
As the dust settled over the stone cubes and statues, we gathered ourselves (and my undead) and start towards adventure. The zombie beholder and its fungi companions proved only a minor annoyance, killing my precious owl familiar. Unfortunately, the goblins who were previously there, disappeared.

Painting raptors
Introduction
I bought a raptor pack to go along with the larger dinos, just for fun. I decided to take inspiration from real world lizards.

Dungeon of the Mad Mage: Knock knock!

Painting an Ankylosaurus

April review & May goals
Grind on with the D&D. Both campaigns fully embrace roll20 now, so yay for digitalization, I guess? With no end in sight for the pandemic, this is probably our best bet.
Painting wise, I finished a lot of Bones stuff, although not as much as I would have liked to - obviously. I did veer into Warhammer by laying the foundations of a new army - more on that when I have some minis ready. But a new painting competition is now in sight, for which my work is well under way. That will be my main focus this month.

D&D 5E one shot collection - Escape from Blire Manor
Groot, Ulfgar and Wizzik awakened some time later in a large room. They were unarmed, and their hands tied behind their back. The room also had a tied up minotaur[1] and a bandit whittling a piece of wood. Wizzik tried talking up, and his voice triggered the bandit into handing out a couple of slaps. Dace immediately exploited the guard's turned back and charged, pinning him to the wall.
