Painting Boulderkin (slapchop method)

A group of cutesy elementals from the Reaper kickstarter.

Preparation

Glue on 32mm bases, fill out using Stirland Battlemire. As with all Bones miniatures, prime using Munitorum Varnish.

Slapchop method

Contrast paints

Dilute Basilicanum Grey for an overall coat. This will base the greyish stone color.

Dilute Wyldwood 4:1 and slap on some areas, including any earthy looking parts as well in the mouths and around the rocks. Also on the base.

Finish off with a light Wraithbone drybrush across the faces/knuckles.
