Painting medieval village kids

Introduction

Medieval village kids for MAGUS and DnD. Nefarious purposes not disclosed at this point.

Painting

Two girls get a simple pink progression on their dresses. Basecoat Warlord Purple, highlight Reaper Pink then Squid Pink.

Unhappy with way too much contrast, I applied Carroburg Crimson overall.

Then highlighted again with Reaper Pink.

Two kids get a simple blue progression (like this dress). 

Two kids get a simple green progression. Basecoat Heavy Green, highlight Sick Green, wash Biel-Tan Green, highlight Sick Green.

Half get brown hair, half blond.

Dark leather pants. Light skintone. Eyes. Warm white cloth.

For the wooden swords: basecoat Heavy Brown; wet blend Agrax Eartshade and Athonian Camoshade, then drybrush Heavy Brown, then Khaki.

Medium brown shoes. Also a close-up photo of each kid, finished.

Basing

Cobblestones.
