Painting knights & soldiers (Contrast)

Introduction

Any GM knows that a couple of town guards and assorted armored fighters always come in handy. These Reaper Bones miniatures will do just fine. They started me on the January commission trip!

Painting

These guys are mostly armor, so apply Basilicanum Grey first.

It's light enough such that Cygor Brown covers over, for all the wooden parts.

Snakebite Leather covers over almost as well.

Clean up the cloth parts using Wraithbone and Grey Seer.

I expected two different shades of Blood Angels Red - it literally makes no difference.

I tried white cloth instead, but the Apothecary White blends into the grey from a distance.

I corrected the red by applying Basilicanum Grey over it.

Finished!
