Painting The Triumph of Saint Katherine (reliquary)

This part was the hardest to prepare, as the client wishes to magnetize this - somehow.

Pinning

Until now, I've never considered pinning a form of art.

Painting

Start with the biggest details, on the cherubs. White wings, pale flesh, scroll

Purity seals - same as for the sisters.

Shiny black coffin. Bones.

Basecoated the mattress (silk? pillows?) with two coats of Volupus Pink. Layer Warlord Purple, then highlight the corners with a mix of Warlord Purple and Reaper Pink.

True gold for the armor, instead of the colored Contrast metalic.

Black corset and gloves. White robes, but with Apothecary White instead of black wash for softer shadows.

Colored metalics (same as on the sisters), dark metal undercarriage with a shiny orb overpainted Aethermatic Blue. I then noticed some marble stones where the coffin joins the base... sigh. Fortunately, Skeleton Horde over Grey Seer brings in some of the same warm but bluish tones. I highlighted Wraithbone.

Time for some sorcery! I used Black Templar and an extra fine brush to do some writing on the scrolls. Also Fleur-de-lys symbols, inquisition I-with-skull, "B" and "L"...

And something truly monstrous... gothic font "B" and "L". I can't fathom how people wrote when these were commonly used.

Finish the cherubs with their own metalics (silver and colored), eyes, black cables, and augmetic eyes that are Soulstone Blue and Blood for the Blood God! over Silver.
