After about 8 months of online sessions, we met face to face! As expected, we barely got to play (around 1 hour). Hang on tight.
We went past the goblins into their mushroom gardens, where we encountered screaming plants. As we were asked nicely not to destroy them, we didn't. Who would have thought.
Next up, wild mushrooms. And humanoid tracks. I proposed to not follow the tracks - just in case we would, against all odds, somehow solve it peacefully. Wouldn't want to sidetrack whatever precious playtime we have left.
Like clockwork, a stalactite falls on my head, then turns out to be a worm and starts crawling up the wall. Roll for initiative!
We looked really hard at the ceiling to find the worms that were still hanging up there, unfortunately not all of us noticed them. Selene started flinging chromatic orbs, but only blasted two regular stalactites, before disappearing to the astral plane for a turn. All hail wild magic.
I used Faerie Fire creatively. As the worms passed their save, I exclaimed: well they're the only things not glowing on the ceiling! Thus the skeletons, as well as the rest of the party, could open fire. Sadly, a worm fell on a skeleton and destroyed it, but a hail of bolts, arrows, magic missiles, as well as the sound of bells made short work of them.
See you next time!
