Two packs of Nolzur's Marvelous pre primed githyanki miniatures, as a palette cleanser.
Painting
Pre primed white, so Contrast paints go! I first blocked in their skin Gutrippa Flesh, pants Apothecary White, and anything metallic Basilicanum Grey.
Then apply some painting tips:
- Alternate metallic armor (blue/green) to give that magical feeling
- Cold white pants
- Athonian Camoshade, then Dead Flesh skin. I really like this scheme that I tried on the orc shaman, I should codify it
- dirty wraps: Agrax Earthshade, Nuln Oil, Wraithbone. Another scheme I initially discarded but I'm finding myself using it again and again
- Simplified wasteland base (Contrast)
Paint the leather straps Medium leather, then four different types of facial hair: Black (Contrast), Dark leather (Contrast), Wyldwood and Gore Grunta Fur.
