Painting a Brain Collector

Introduction

Another mini from Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures.

Painting

Basecoat the carapace in Ork Flesh, and the underbelly in Militarum Green.

Two more layers of Ork Flesh on the 'hard' parts of the carapace - so not on the fleshy parts of the legs or around the mouth.

Highlight the carapace with diluted Scorpy Green.

Eyes, but with a layer of Lamenter's Yellow over them.

Claws and teeth.

Volupus Pink inside the mouth and on the brains. Highlight the brains Reaper Pink.

Base

Color the raised base Wyldwood, and cover the rest of the black plastic with Stirland Mud.

Place some tufts.

Glue on the domes protecting the brains.
