Painting Gibbering Mouthers

More simple D&D miniatures. I wanted more oozes for the Dungeon, but these are actually fleshy amalgamations. Also not that simple to paint, with all the eyes and mouths. At least they are disturbing, or as somebody put it: 'Now that's a Monday morning team huddle on Teams if I ever saw one'

Painting

Prime Wraithbone. I laid on the basecoats following Medium skintone (Contrast) but after the Contrast paints and before the highlights, I added spots of Carroburg Crimson and Druchii Violet, for that inflamed flesh effect.

Add the highlights by drybrush.

Also at this step I realized that they are a lot bigger than their 25mm cases, so I glued them on 32mm. They almost overhang that as well. I filled out the sides using terrain paste.

Paint the eyes. Do the mouth with Volupus Pink, then pick out the teeth Bonewhite.

Paint the terrain paste Nuln Oil, then drybrush Stonewall Grey.

Finished!
