I found this video while browsing the tubes. Now I was a bit skeptical, but ever since I got my hands on the Contrast paint range I am continuously trying to paint good looking miniatures with as little effort as possible. So I decided to try it out! The idea is to prime black, then do a heavy drybrush with a light grey (I used Cold Grey), then finally a lighter drybrush on the focal points such as face and hands with white. Kind of like a zenithal approach but by hand. Then just apply Contrast paints (or other types of inks/glazes) over the miniature!
