Painting a Cthulhuid Obelisk

A small terrain piece addition to the ever-growing cthulhuid collection for MAGUS.

Painting

Prime Munitorum Varnish (due to it being Reaper Bones), then Grey Seer. I initially had all sorts of ideas, but decided on the simplest one for this commission. Coat overall Basilicanum Grey. I took special care on the flat surface of the obelisk to keep the brush somewhat dry and use sweeping, overbrushing motions. This results in a smooth finish and some runes where the paint did not flow in.

Then use a smaller brush to trace the runes with Aethermatic Blue.

Paint the base black.
