Painting commission characters

White metal miniatures, a welcome change from all the Bones quick jobs.

Prime

White, in preparation for some bright colors.

Lay on Contrast basecoats.

Apply the following painting tips:

• Medium skintone (Contrast)
• Painting eyes
• Light leather (Contrast)
• Warm white cloth
• Dark wood
• Blond hair (simple)
• And finally, there's Highlighting on a Contrast basecoat (enriched a bit after all this)

• Traditional metallic armor
• Shiny gold

After the "regular" tips are done, let's try something new. 3:1 diluted Black Templar for this hairy body.

As for the potion bottles, basecoat Silver, then paint on Blood for the Blood God! and Spiritstone Blue.

Then paint over with slightly diluted Aethermatic Blue for that glass effect.

Finally, a subtle energy effect on the sword using multiple (5?) layers of Pylar Glacier.
