Painting a commission Terror Bird

Painting instructions: make him a scavenger from Gothic 1. Also make it a low-effort commission, to remind of the low poly graphics from the game.

Painting 

I wanted to paint him using Contrast paints, but this hydrophobia drives me crazy.

In the end, the back and belly went reasonably well using Skeleton Horde, diluted Gore Grunta Fur on the legs, and Volupus Pink inside mouth. The sides are diluted Sombre Grey, and the base is Sick Green.

Overall drybrush Wraithbone. Not bad, actually, but too low-poly for my tastes, so I painted his eyes and glazed over Lamenter's Yellow.
