Painting a female elf bard

I got inspired to paint a Barbie-styled blonde in pink clothes. Don't ask why, I didn't even see the movie. The mini is from Reaper Miniatures.

Painting

Prime Grey Seer. I initially coated the clothes Volupus Pink, but it looks way darker than the bright Barbie-pink. So I repainted her Squid Pink, then highlights Breast Cancer Pink.

While the two paints are somewhat different, the highlights were almost invisible, so I mixed in Dead White for super highlights.

Then paint up to:

• Medium skintone (Contrast)
• Painting eyes
• Female face
• Light leather (Contrast)
• Cold white clothing
• Dark wood log
• Light brown wood lute
• metal strings

I tried a new recipe for blond hair. Basecoat Khaki.

Wash 1:1 diluted Seraphim Sepia.

Highlight Khaki, then Bonewhite.

Basing

Woodland base.
