Repainting Sir Palamedes from the Shadows over Camelot boardgame

Before

Only basecoated, as usual. The checker pattern is sculpted on the shield.

After

Fixing the basecoat

No difference in looks, just some edges tidied up and chipping fixed.

Box art and paints used for this stage.

Shades

Drakenhof Nightshade on blue.

Seraphim Sepia on the white cloth.

Agrax Earthshade on the face, brown surcoat, bronze armor and metallic sword, and yellow trims and headgear.

Highlights

Highlight with bronze. Edge highlight all around, dot the raised parts on the shoulder.

Second edge highlight with gold for extra shine.

Gunmetal edge highlight on blade.

Ultramarine Blue highlight on the blue cloth.

Heavy Brown highlights on the surcoat. Leather Brown highlights on the straps.

White and Sun Yellow highlights on cloth and trim.

I highlighted the face with the original skintone color, but it got too light, so I applied a second coat of Agrax Earthshade.

Follow the painting tip for the eyes, except I used Agrax Earthshade instead of black wash, and brown for the iris.

Basing

Finished!
