M.A.G.U.S. - Assembling an army

The new year kicked off with Shamil and Felgrin racing after the fleeing assassins. They caught up to them in no time, and the two villains decided to make a stand. Of course, one cannot stand for long against an invisible wizard and a prepped-up assassin.
More interesting was what happened to the other party members in the meantime.
Cahir had also jumped out of the window after the assassins, but he was wearing heavy armor, and so he broke his legs. His training allowed him to disregard the pain and start limping after his friends.
Athosian ran away just after the barbarian entered his rage, and she made her way downstairs as the inn was waking up. She sneaked out and ran past the wailing paladin, just catching up to the fight in the final round.
Biznard calmed his nerves after breaking the last of the assassins in their bedroom, and casually made his way down. The inn was already up by this point, but he pushed people aside, picked up the paladin on his shoulders, and started walking. (I made them roll just for fun, and they lost the paladin's greatsword.)

One assassin died in the fight, but the other merely suffered mortal wounds. Shamil held him down while Felgrin tried another round of mind control. The villain let slip some information before recovering, and the realization of his betrayal hit him. They made him drink a health potion just in case, and tortured whatever they could out him, before finally slitting his throat.

By the end, everyone had reached the small alley where the fight took place, and the adventurers could discuss the three pieces of information they came upon.
One, was that Telicanthus was indeed behind the assassins.
Two, was that they were merely a distraction, and some sort of evil ritual was taking place at the villa. To prevent who-knows-what, the adventurers had to strike now.
Three, was that Telicanthus had substantial forces at his disposal. A coterie of assassins, five priests of Ranagol, and two dark paladins. They had to gather reinforcements.

And so they did.

Shamil visited his clan safe house, and was given command of the residing strike team: 4 warrior-assassins, 2 scouts, 1 wizard-assassin, 1 priest-assassin, and 1 psychic-assassin.
Felgrin infiltrated the nearest town guard outpost. Using illusions, invisibility and a cold aura, he woke up the officer in charge and made him think he was visited by a ghost. He threatened the poor man with all sorts of grisly consequences should he not gather the militia and march on the villa of Telicanthus.
The rest of them went back to the inn. Cahir looked for his sword; good luck with that. They met Valeria and brought her up to speed. She lent them her two muscle-bound bodyguards, as well as promising additional reinforcements by "calling in an old favor". Whatever that means.

An hour later, the party of adventurers, thugs and assassins met up in front of the villa. With no sign of the town guard but time pressing, they decided to barge in.

They set up the marching order and moved in through the lawn and the front door, triggering a magic trap.
