Graveyard Shift: The end. Transition to Rain of Mercy

The session started off with the agents as rather passive spectators, as the scene of battle wound down. The interrogator shut down the last remaining arco-flagellant, then sedated Sister Palmulata and sealed her wound. The agents gathered her (and her arm) and placed her on a makeshift bed. As the interrogator went to check on the pilot servitors, the agents rummaged around the ship for healing supplies and regrouped to recover their wounds.

The interrogator returned shortly with rewards as promised: an archaeotech toaster, the reliquary of an Imperial saint, an ornate psykana blade and a long lost recording of a Salamander battle.

The agents were then unceremoniously deposited in the docks of Gilead Primus. Their vox started hissing at once, and they were contacted by Obasi Varonius - a relative of the Rogue Trader - offering them a job. The agents declined, and went to replace Palmulata's arm instead.

They arrived at a regular grade hospital catering to the general hive populace[1] and purchased an Augmetic Arm. I took great pleasure in describing the less than sanitary environment of the operating room and the spidery medical servitor descending from the ceiling towards the patient strapped to the table.[2] A few botched tests later, the chirurgeon and the servitor had successfully installed the arm, but the servitor went into a fit and accidentally cut Palmulata's left foot with a chain blade.[3]

The sister exited the hospital with a frown, and was greeted by her companions. Tass even scrounged a deep fried 6-legged rat from the underhive markets, which she politely declined.

The agents then spent time on finding Obasi again[4] and he was willing to give them a mission. They embarked on a decrepit Aquila lander and headed towards the shrine world of Enoch to track down a living saint (or, possibly, a dangerous heretic).

[1] Palmulata did not wish to spend more wealth than absolutely needed.
[2] At which point Palmulata's player required moral support.
[3] Trading one traumatic injury for another.
[4] Warder got a reputation for being the dock's "creepy guy".
