Painting a dire cabbage

From Reaper's latest Kickstarter (Featured Creatures section).

Painting

Prime Munitorum Varnish/Grey Seer.

First, for the cabbage part: dilute Striking Scorpion, then paint all over. Paint again along the veins and in recesses. Dilute Ork Flesh and paint the outer leaves, both sides. Another layer on the outside and the tail. Highlight the veins Bonewhite.

Bone on the claws and teeth. Volupus Pink on the tongue.

Basing

Woodland base.
