More things for the Dungeon. Painted as a silver dragon as described for the Forgotten Realms.
Preparation
This is a WizKids preprimed miniature. All I did was to wrap the base and mount in painter's tape due to all the drybrushing coming up.
Painting the dragon
I debated re-priming in Leadbelcher, but that would be too dark a metallic for the basecoat, so I painted it Chainmail Silver by hand instead. This has the added advantage of leaving the wings white. Well, mostly.
I bathed the entire dragon Apothecary White. Then, I painted the base of the wings and frill Gryph Charger Grey. Feather that out across the wings.
Paint the outside of the wings and frill Magos Purple. Feather that out.
Drybrush the scales Silver. It messed up the wings a bit, but doesn't matter. Sometimes silver dragons are drawn with silver wings. Other time, white wings. Then, drybrush the wings white.
Paint the inside of the mouth Volupus Pink. Paint all the claws, horns and teeth diluted Black Templar. Paint the eyes Bood Angels Red.
Painting the base
Magnetize a 100mm base, and glue the molded base on top. Leave the painter's tape on the transparent mount. Paint Simplified wasteland base.
Finishing steps
Glue on the dragon. Spray varnish. Glue on dry bushes, appropriate for a mountain environment.
