I'll be honest here - this game was the most stressful I every played. Just look at the number of pictures I took.
The Targaryens obviously had dragons, so I skipped Mag in favor of the infantry list. As usual, I sent the Thenns forward to taunt and tank.
But how can you tank when both dragons rolled 3 on the D3 and killed the Thenns immediately? The middle was a mess. I immediately brought in my Shadowcat with a tactics card and sent into one dragon to tie it down. I then murdered Khal Drogo with double Spearwives, and sent the Cave Dwellers and Wolf Pack to deal with the second cavalry.
A dragon charged Varamyr. 4 wounds, D3+1 wounds. 3 on the D3 again, Varamyr died. I lost my composure, not proud of that, not gonna lie.
However, double Spearwives again did work, with a bounce, heal, charge back in, killed one dragon. The other almost killed its way out, but through luck and abilities, the Spearwives survived and killed it as well.
The Cave Dwellers caught the other cavalry unit, and murdered it in a couple of swings.
I had my opponent wiped out turn 4, but I was still stressed out. The dragons did a number on me, they are incredible on the field.
