Ah, my old enemy. I hoped not to get this matchup, but alas, that is how the pairings worked out. Welcome to the battle of ultimate refuse flanks.
The usual posturing went down during turn 1. For some reason the cavalry went far back, allowing me board control and an enveloping maneuver. Sacrifical Trappers doing their thing.
Tywin did his thing at the start of turn 2 and almost killed the Trappers. Then he turned off the Wolf Pack. Sigh. Oh well, looks like nothing's going down during turn 2. I sent in a sacrificial Bear to muck up the lines.
Everything went down as I hoped, with the Bear dying but the Lannisters using up their activation for it. Trappers still going strong on the objective.
Ah, turn 3. Crossbows failed to kill the Wolf Pack. What a menace. Warrior Sons killed the Trappers, but I expected that. I stalled as much as possible, then propelled Mag up the board. Enough to scare the Warrior Sons off the objective, lol. The cavalry proved a good enough charge target.
Nothing changed during our final round 4. The Lannisters put out scoring objectives on turn 3, getting nothing with the cavalry engaged to Mag. I put it out during turn 4 and scored 3 more.
