Astra Militarum vs Imperial Knights vs Adeptus Mechanicus

Bringing back the old Triumph and Treachery rules for a 3 player Free For All!


After some preliminary shots by the AdMech, I quickly proposed an alliance against the Knights, which was accepted. We then played a game of chicken for 3 rounds, showing nothing.


That is, until the end of turn 3, when the AdMech had to bring in their Lancer from reserves. No charge, though.

Battle round 4

We ball! The AdMech went first, charging in.

I then got to go, dropping in to take the center and barely shooting down the Knight Lancer.

Finally the Knights went, shooting down the AdMech Lancer. 7 points to me at the end of the round for holding the objective and killing a Warlord.

Battle round 5

The Knights went first, trying to kill my center troop and taking the objective. Well, they succeeded on both counts. 

With only my Warlord Tempestor holding her ground.

I went second. I was ahead in points, so I decided to muck up the AdMech so they wouldn't interfere. All the scions jumped out and took out the tank as well as the sniper and a squad of Skitarii. 

Finally, the AdMech went and retaliated against me.

Final score

7-5-0 to me. 

This was a fun romp! With only 3 players, and two of us close to each other, an alliance was bound to sprout, and the day to be won by treachery.
