Painting a dragonne (liondrake)

A Nolzur's Marvelous pre-primed miniature which I bought purely because it looked interesting.

Painting 

It's pre-primed white, so... Contrast paints go! I tried to approximate the boxart, as I had no idea what this thing is. Start with an overall layer of diluted Skeleton Horde, for the light creamy scales on the belly.

Now for the lion parts, Aggaros Dunes on the body and diluted Gore Grunta Fur on the mane/tail.

Carroburg Crimson wing membrane.

Continue on the hair, inspired by Brown fur. After another layer of Gore Grunta Fur, continue up to diluted Black Templar.

Finally, do the eyes with a layer of Lamenter's Yellow on the top, and Simplified wasteland base.
