Some second hand Reaper Bones gnolls: Blacktongue, Warrior and Boneflail. I initially disliked these minis due to their size - those are 50mm bases! However, they are fun to paint with not too many details. Except Boneflail with all her bone trinkets. Still, at least not too many types of texture.
Original state
Primed white and fur painted with maybe Ratling Grime. I also already basecoated some elements Leadbelcher before taking this photo.
Painting
Lay on the Contrast basecoats! Nothing really new here, 50 shades of brown. I painted the manes Gore Grunta Fur and blended some Ratling Grime at the base. I decided to make their patchwork clothes/shield colored as if made of pony skin.
Apply the painting tips:
- Light leather (Contrast)
- Dark leather (Contrast)
- Filthy cloth (Contrast)
- Dark wood
- Rusty metal
- Bone (Contrast)
Highlight the manes Orange Fire.
