Painting a commission samurai

A Reaper Bones kit. I immediately thought of Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai and painted it accordingly.

Painting

Prime Wraithbone. Apply the Contrast basecoats.

Apply some painting tips:

• Dark red cloth (Contrast) for the armor
• Black (Contrast) cloth
• Medium skintone (Contrast)
• Painting eyes
• Dark wood
• Traditional metallic armor for the weapons
• Shiny gold

As for the banner (also inspired by the movie), paint Leviadon Blue, then highlight Ultramarine Blue. Mix in Dead White and draw the shapes, then mix in more white to highlight them.

Basing

Woodland base.
