Painting Mantic Ghouls

I digged up these ghouls (hue hue) so they can contribute to this year's miniature painting target. I tried out some WarhammerTV zombie skin schemes, so translate the Citadel paints using the Paint mix chart.

Fresh Corpse

Basecoat Pallid Wych Flesh. Coat Reikland Fleshshade.

Coat Athonian Camoshade for just a hint of dead-ness. Highlight Pallid Wych Flesh.

Necrotic flesh

Basecoat Krieg Khaki.

Coat Seraphim Sepia.

Layer Krieg Khaki.

Superhighlight Off White.

Common elements

Dilute Carroburg Crimson at least 1:2 with water and paint around any wounds and nails.

Apply some painting tips:

• metallic nails
• Rusty metal weapons
• Filthy cloth (also with Aethermatic Blue instead of Apothecary White for faded blue cloth)
  
• Dirty red cloth

Paint the hair Agrax Earthshade, then highlight Stonewall Grey.

Paint the teeth Nuln Oil, then highlight Dead White.

Paint the eyes Dead White, paint around with Aethermatic Blue for that undead eye glow effect. Highlight Dead White.

Basing

Woodland base. No red flowers on the red clothed ghouls.
