Painting a commission Halloween knight

Miniature from Reaper Bones Kickstarter 5. 

This is my first blue cloak experiment. I actually like this type of color combination, as you may have noticed lately. It is also 90% Contrast which is a bonus.

Painting

Prime Grey Seer, paint the Contrast basecoats.

Start off the cloak with 2 layers of Ultramarines Blue.

Deepen the shadows using Leviadon Blue.

While the blues dry, paint in the other details. Like the double orange Contrast pumpkin with Orange Fire highlights.

Paint in and around the eyes Dead White.

Striking Scorpion for a cheap OSL, still love it.

Highlight the cloak Ultramarine Blue. I also mixed in Dead White for a second highlight.

Paint up to:

• Rusty metal
• Corroded bronze
• Bone
• Dark wood
• Light leather

Basing

Woodland base.
