Painting a commission bone giant

The "biggest" commission of 2026. 

Original state

Unsure if the grey parts are unpainted or unprimed. They acted hydrophobic when painted with washes/contrasts but may be either.

Painting

Apply the  bone treatment. Also paint the rags Ratling Grime and the straps as Blond hair (hehe).

Drybrush all of it Bonewhite.

Then break out the wet palette.

Paint the gravestone Simple marble.

Rusty metal.

Basecoat all the wood and unpainted bone Heavy Brown. While already there, paint the wood Agrax Earthshade then highlight Khaki. Paint the skulls as the rest of the giant. Paint the leathers as Dark leather. Paint the human head and hand medium skintone but use Athonian Camoshade as the wash.
