Painting a lich

Painting the lich from the Reaper DDRPG Kickstarter with the purpose of completing the purple experiment done on the cultists. 

Painting

Prime in white.

Go with the dark version of the desaturated purple scheme. I tried two highlight colors, Heavy Violet on the lower part (too lively) and Heavy Violet + Cold Grey on the upper cloak, which looked just right.

Then paint the rest of the details:

• Simplified wasteland base
• Bone
• candles
• medium skintone but with Athonian Camoshade for undead skin
• metallic armor
• Dark metal staff
• Pale gold ornaments
• Dark leather
• Faded red cloth
• grey fur
• white hair

Paint the eyes white, then drop in Aethermatic Blue for that cold undead effect. Paint the gemstone Blood for the Blood God!
