Painting Grey Wind and Summer

The first two completed miniatures of 2024 were these two commission dire wolves from ASOIAF.

Painting 

Basecoat 1:1 mix of Black and Cold Grey.    

Heavy drybrush Cold Grey. 

Coat Grey Wind in diluted Ratling Grime. Coat Summer in diluted Basilicanum Grey. 

Drybrush Stonewall Grey.

Draw Basilicanum Grey across the spine.

Paint eyes and go over with Lamenter's Yellow. Black Templar noses. Volupus Pink inside mouth. Agrax Earthshade fangs. Highlight Bonewhite.

Basing

Stark bases.
